Product Wiring
We offer three models of GPRS modules that operate exclusively with GSM networks and are not compatible with WiFi.
1. GPRS with GPS: This model includes GPS functionality for precise location tracking.
2. GPRS: This variant determines location solely through GPRS via the internet.
3. GPRS PCB: This module is designed to be installed on the inverter side for systems with power ratings above 5.5 kW.
SIM and APN Configuration
1. Insert the mobile phone’s SIM card into the GPRS module.
2. Send a message to the SIM card’s number to access and configure the APN settings.
If the APN cannot be modified via GSM messaging, please adjust the APN settings using debugging software on a computer.
1. Connect Rs485A and Rs485B to a USB-to-serial port converter, and also connect the 24V and GND wires accordingly.
2. Identify the correct serial port on the computer.
3. Install the GPRS module configuration software, ‘DTU Set Software.exe’.
4. Set the appropriate ‘COM’ port and click ‘connect’ to establish communication between the computer and the GPRS module.
